We’re on a mission to deliver quality, affordable fashion to Kiwi whānau, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Planner to join our fun and dynamic Baby and Kids team in our Auckland Support Head Office.

Do the mahi
You will be supporting the Planner in the purchase and delivery of merchandise to our Postie stores and website, through stock management, analysis and range planning.

A key objective of this role is to maximise sales and margin, through accurate forecasting and manipulation of store and ecommerce stock levels, and the development of learnings through analysis that can be applied to next season’s product range.

This role offers excellent opportunities to learn and progress in a career in planning, working in a team with experienced planners and buyers.

Bring your best
The successful applicant will have the following experience and skills:

• 1 - 2+ years’ experience in a merchandise or allocations role
• A passion for data analysis and an analytical approach to range planning
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong Excel skills
• Fashion retail trading mentality

You will also have the following skills:

• Effective time management and organisational skills
• A problem solver
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication
• Team Player with a can-do attitude
